A joint production with our friends at W2 Store in Glasgow, our shared home city, on the occasion of the launch of our FOG waterproof breathable styles. The image on the back depicts the Garthamlock and Craigend Water Towers in the city’s east. At once commonplace and alien, they call to mind Bernd and Hiller Becher’s overarching term for their own postwar photographic cataloguing of industrial structures: Anonymous sculptures. We could think of no better symbol to depict on our shared offering.
100% Organic cotton, knitted in the UK. Cut and sewn in Manchester, screen printed in the UK. QC checked with Middle Distance ‘quality control’ sticker applied.
The direction of the fabric runs horizontal across the sleeves and body, resulting in a more robust and stable-feeling fit. The hem and sleeve openings are overlocked and will roll naturally a little over time.
Please check your size against the size guide - these are a new pattern, so if you’ve bought trees form us before you might want to check your sizing again as these run more oversized.
