The Vision T-shirt is fully reversible, and can be worn inside out with it's construction exposed, taking cues from military and sportswear jackets. We wanted to explore why the architecture of the garment is often concealed at the expense of comfort, when it has a beauty of its own and in reality anything might be worn inside out. With the overlocked seams on the outside, the internal seams have a softer finish against the skin. A votive figure is printed inside, facing inwards to the body. The wearer can choose to have this hidden, only known to themselves, or revealed, appearing like a vision from within.
100% Organic cotton, knitted in the UK. Cut and sewn in Glasgow, screen printed in the UK. QC checked with Middle Distance ‘quality control’ sticker applied.
The direction of the fabric runs horizontal across the sleeves and body, resulting in a more robust and stable-feeling fit. The hem and sleeve openings are overlocked and will roll naturally a little over time.
